Continuing Education Reporting for State-Licensed Brokers and Loan Originators
Every state-licensed broker or loan originator is required to complete at least 8 hours of approved education annually beginning the year immediately following completion of Pre-Licensure Education Requirements (PE). Annual CE education must include 3 hours of Federal law, 2 hours of ethics (which shall include fraud, consumer protection, and fair lending issues), and 2 hours of non-traditional mortgage lending, plus one (1) additional hour of Georgia law for loan originators or fraud for brokers. If you completed PE prior to 2011, then you must complete CE in 2011.
