The Department has regulatory authority over certain residential mortgage brokers, lenders, processors, and mortgage loan orginators conducting business in Georgia. To determine whether or not an entity is licensed or registered by the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance, use the search options below. The "Find a Specific Licensee" listing will reflect active and inactive (revoked, suspended, withdrawn, or expired) licensees. The Excel file is a listing of ACTIVE licensees. To see outstanding Administrative Actions on both licensed and unlicensed entities, click on the Cease & Desist Orders to see the complete listing of outstanding administrative actions.
NMLS Consumer Access - is a fully searchable website that allows the public to view information concerning state-licensed mortgage companies, branches, and individuals currently licensed through NMLS.
