Georgia Department of Banking and Finance's Order to Cease and Desist issued to Amy Budrys Becomes Final


Atlanta, Georgia
 - On January 25, 2012, the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance (“Department”) entered into a Consent Order with Amy Budrys (License Number 25127, Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (“NMLS”) Number 201348), formerly sponsored by DeWitt Mortgage Services and Property Management, LLC (NMLS Number 159325), to resolve allegations pertaining to violations of the Georgia Residential Mortgage Act and agency rules. 

Upon entry of the Consent Order, the mortgage loan originator’s license of Ms. Budrys was deemed surrendered and the Order to Cease and Desist issued to Ms. Budrys became final.

Pursuant to state law, the Department may revoke the license of a mortgage broker or mortgage lender that employs an individual against whom a final Order to Cease and Desist has been issued within the preceding five years.
