Preparing for the 2017 License Renewal Period

The 2017 renewal period for mortgage and money services business licensees/registrants is fast approaching.  As a reminder, all licensee records must be up to date at the time of renewal. Amendments to license information CANNOT be made through the renewal feature.  If you need to make changes to a company, branch, or individual record before you attest to its accuracy for renewal, this must be done prior to submitting a renewal request through the Filing tab.

It is strongly recommended that you submit updates immediately to allow sufficient time for review.  Additionally, you should review license statuses and confirm that there are no outstanding license items that need to be cleared, whether placed by the NMLS system or the Department.

Waiting until November or December to submit amendments and/or clear outstanding license items will delay the approval of your renewal request.
