Georgia Department of Banking and Finance Enters into a Consent Order with Ryland Mortgage Company

 On February 1, 2010, the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance (“Department”) entered into a Consent Order with Ryland Mortgage Company, Mortgage Lender’s license number 6499, of 24025 Park Sorrento, Suite 100, Calabasas, California 91302, to resolve allegations pertaining to a violation of the Georgia Residential Mortgage Act.

The terms of the Consent Order provide, among other things, that the voluntary surrender of Ryland Mortgage Company’s mortgage lender’s license is effective January 29, 2010, and that Ryland Mortgage Company will never apply for another mortgage lender’s license or a mortgage broker’s license.
