Georgia Department of Banking and Finance Revokes the Mortgage Lender's License of Ramsey Suphi Agan d/b/a RSA Financial

June 29, 2010

Atlanta, Georgia - On June 22, 2010, the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance (“Department”) issued a Final Decision in which the mortgage lender’s license of Ramsey Suphi Agan d/b/a RSA Financial (#23611), located at 945 East Paces Ferry Road, Suite 1755, Atlanta, Georgia 30326, was revoked.

In its Final Decision, the Department found that Ramsey Suphi Agan d/b/a RSA Financial (“Mr. Agan”) held a mortgage lender’s license despite being convicted of a federal felony for which he had not been pardoned or the recipient of a restoration of rights by the State Board of Pardon and Paroles at the time of initial licensure. The Department also found that Mr. Agan made material misrepresentations about this federal conviction during the application process in order to obtain a mortgage lender’s license from this agency.
