Non-Depository License Renewal
Non-Depository license renewal season begins November 1. Please renew your license via the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) by December 1 to avoid a late fee. Failure to renew by December 31 may result in expiration of your license.
How Do I Apply for an Installment Lender License?
Installment lender" or "lender" means any person that advertises, solicits, offers, or makes installment loans or services installment loans made by others, excluding loans made by affiliated entities.

NEW APPLICATION FEES
•Installment Lender License - $750 plus additional NMLS fees
•Installment Lender Branch Approval – $300 plus additional NMLS fees (Please note that mortgage branches do not have a separate license, but still require Department approval if located in Georgia. Branches fall under the company’s license.)
