How Do I Surrender/Withdraw My Mortgage License?

To surrender/withdraw your mortgage license, you must file a surrender request through NMLS.  If you have a company license that has approved Georgia branches, you must also file a surrender request through NMLS for any Georgia branch locations.

Requirements

• All mortgage license surrender requests must be made through the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System & Registry (NMLS). 
• Access the GA Mortgage License Surrender Requirements Checklist in NMLS.

• Surrender Request - $0 (Please ensure that any outstanding invoices on your record have been paid prior to submitting a surrender request.)
